Caisson Packings
CAISSON PACKING
Caisson packing is specifically engineered for watertight retaining structures that are open at the bottom. Water is kept out by air pressure allowing construction work to be carried out under water. This packing is a prefabricated hollow box or cylinder sunk into the ground to a desired depth and then filled with concrete to form a foundation.
PROPERTIES
- Reduces noise and vibration
- Easily adaptable to varying site conditions
- High axial and lateral loading capacity
