Natural Rubber
NATURAL RUBBER
Natural rubber can have many different names, Isoprene, Polyisoprene, but is most commonly known as Gum Rubber. Using natural rubber has many advantages such as high tensile strength, superior resistance to tearing and abrasion, and excellent rebound elasticity. Good flexibility at low temperatures but has less resistance to heat, ozone, and sunlight. This material has exceptional adhesion quality to fabrics and metals but has very little resistance to oils, gasoline and hydrocarbon solvents.

TYPES OF NATURAL RUBBER
NATURAL RUBBER
With a smooth finish this rubber offers excellent physical properties such as superior resilience, tensile, elongation, and abrasion resistance. Produced entirely with FDA approved ingredients per 21 CFR 177.2600. Good tear strength and is resistant to water, most salts, mild acids and other chemicals. Not suited for environments involving ozone, strong acids, animal fats, oils, greases and most hydrocarbons. Non-marking and safe to use for repeated food exposure. Versatile in a temperature range from -20°F to +140°F.
